Pricing and Shipping Info

After holding our prices since last year despite several increases on our raw tobaccos and tins, flavorings, etc. we have no choice but to raise prices for 2008. We trust you will find if you compare our prices to others on a like quantity basis you will find them to be very competitive. For instance, we offer a full 2 oz. tin vs. the standard 50 grams, our 8 oz. prices are comparable to many 100 gr. (3.5 oz.) tin prices, etc.

We did not take this decision lightly. In the end it came down to a choice between options; we could raise prices or close the business and retire. We hope and trust our many friends who have stayed loyal to C&D through the years will understand the neccessity of this decision since Patty and I aren't ready to retire just yet, we have too much fun with all of you. We do not have a shopping cart on our web site. We prefer to do business the old fashioned way, one on one with our customers. To this end we ask that you call us to discuss your first order so that we can ensure you get exactly what you want. All personal information is stored on an off-line data base for security purposes. ATTENTION CANADIAN FRIENDS
Effective immediately all shipments to Canada MUST be declared
as pipe tobacco as per Canadian Customs. Please take this into consideration
when placing an order. Thank you!

                                                                           Shipping within the U.S. is by UPS or USPS depending on weight,
   distance, and/or your preference. Overnight, 2nd and 3rd Day Air
                                                                           are available upon request. International shipping is normally via
                                                                         USPS Global Priority; Air Express, which can be tracked door to door,
available upon request. Please note that on International orders, we
                                                                          can not be responsible for packages intercepted by customs or failure
                                                                          to deliver by postal authorities. We will be happy to provide tracking
                                                                          numbers to verify shipment of your order, but international customers
                                                                          assume risk for actual delivery and any and all customs fees.
